About MCAA - North

The Masonry Contractors Association of Alberta was first incorporated in January 1965 in Edmonton. This group later became known as the MCAA - Northern Region when the South chapter was formed in 1967. The intent of the association is to provide a forum for the masonry industry to socialize, gain the latest in technical information regarding their industry, and to allow for input from the membership into the direction of the masonry industry in Alberta.

The MCAA - Northern Region chapter is based in Edmonton. Their jurisdiction covers the area from Red Deer north to the Alberta border. The chapter is comprised of members from the residential and commercial contractor communities and supplier / manufacturing groups within the masonry industry.

The Masonry Contractors Association - Northern Region has regular meetings on the second Tuesday of the month. All members and guests are welcome to attend. The Northern Region Executive serves a 2 year term. The current (2005-2007) executive:
