Joining MCAA - North
The Masonry Contractors Association of Alberta - Northern Region has a very active membership of both contractors and suppliers, each providing valuable input and working together to further the industry.
Who can join?
Any reasonable contractor, firm or corporation regularly engaged in the business of masonry contracting and lawfully employing qualified bricklayers may be eligible for membership as a Contractor.
Any responsible person, firm or corporation manufacturing or supplying goods or services to the masonry industry shall be eligible for “Associate” membership.
Any member company having association with additional masonry companies employing bricklayers shall be subject to the rules and regulations of the Organization and be responsible for the Industry Advancement Fees of these associated companies
Membership in the Masonry Contractors Association brings with it a number of services which include:
- Monthly meetings held to discuss issues and ideas
- Input to the Apprenticeship Board
- Entries and involvement in Skills Canada
- Representation with Union negotiations
- Representation with the national group the Canada Masonry Design Centre
- Representation with the National Group the Canadian Masonry Contractors Association
- Representation and input with the Health & Welfare and Pension Plan groups
- Access to the latest in technology, innovations and design in masonry
- Referral of problems or questions to the proper educational or expert authorities.

- The opportunity to socialize and learn the different challenges facing the other contractors and suppliers in the Northern Region.
